Noticeably less drafty and quieter

Much more comfortable

The AC unit does not go on and off as much as it used to and it holds temperature. I find it much more comfortable, even when it was 106 degrees outside, I was able to maintain at 72 degrees.

The best investment that we have made since we purchased our home

Jim and I are very pleased with the work performed by Bright Alternatives this past year. The time and money expended toward this project has been the best investment that we have made since we purchased our home in 2003. As you know from the Home Energy Audit that you initiated last Fall, we were literally losing energy, heating and cooling right through the roof.

The results of the audit revealed that we not only needed to upgrade the heating and cooling system, we also had to update the hot water heater which was not producing enough hot water for the entire house especially during the Winter months.

Following your recommendations which included upgrading the hot water heater, the A/C and heating system, sealing the attic with cellulose insulation, has resulted in a successful project.

Since February when the heating and cooling system was installed as well as the attic insulation, we have already seen a reduction in our electric bills. The entire house is so much more comfortable and we have not had to use the auxiliary baseboard heat at all. When we set the heat or cooling to a specific temperature, we are realizing that the temperature stays constant. Amazing! Also it is wonderful to be able to take a bath or shower and wash a load of clothes simultaneously without the water turning cold! Best of we are seeing a savings in our electric bill of about 48% from last year this time.

We are looking forward to also installing an energy recovery ventilator to make our home even more comfortable with proper circulation of air.

Jim and I are confident that this project that we have participated in with Bright Alternatives, has not only has made our home more comfortable, but also more energy efficient which we believe can only improve the value of our home. An amazing job of lowering my utility bills

Bright Alternatives did an amazing job of lowering my utility bills. They were also efficient and very friendly to work with. I'd recommend them highly to anyone looking to save money and enjoy a more comfortable house.
